What is Surmueble?

Origins. Surmueble was created from Mobiliaria trade fair, which used to be the big event for manufacturers and buyers of the furniture sector in Andalusia for more than 20 years. So, after the great success of its first edition, Surmueble will come back in March 2019 as a meeting point and reference for this sector in Seville Conference and Exhibition Centre, FIBES.

When. The big event for furniture in Spain will be back at Seville Conference and Exhibition Centre, FIBES from 13th to 16th March 2019, where visitors will enjoy one of the greatest meeting points for manufacturers and buyers of the furniture and decoration sector with the latest, cutting-edge products of the market.

Partners. It is worth stressing the work of collaborating partners in this project, the Official College of Commercial Agents of Seville, in its Furniture Section. As well, EXTENDA’s cooperation (Andalusian Agency for Foreign Trade Promotion of Junta de Andalucía) is outstanding as it runs important international trade projects and missions.

Participating towns. It is also important to mention those towns present in Surmueble, actively supporting the furniture sector, such as Pilas, Lucena, Villa del Río or Écija, which already took part in the previous edition backing up the trade fair with several companies in the exhibition area.

Objectives. One of the main aspects to point out in this great event in Seville is how it boosts and encourages the furniture industry. Manufacturers present their latest products to both national and international outlets.

Surmueble wants to become one of the greatest meeting events for manufacturers, traders and buyers where the furniture sector’s innovation and excellence meet.

2017 Edition. In its past 2017 edition, more than 10,000 professionals of the sector were received during the four scheduled days with 100 exhibitors. In 2019, this furniture trade fair will be held in three spacious pavilions, which means more than 20,000 m² for the exhibition and all visitors’ enjoyment.
